CON BRO CHILL PLAYS PORTLAND

Con Bro Chill

I don’t know where “Boom Town” is but I wish it was somewhere near SF.

This last week I was in Portland for pleasure. No agenda… but to my delight I discovered it was Music Fest NW  and Widmer was having their Oktober Fest a month early. (Likely very unrelated) I went for the beer but while I was there discovered a band with 10 times more energy than I could ever wish to have. Their name? Con Bro Chill  from Boom Town. (Where Ever The “F” That Is!)

I assume they’re not an SF Band, but I still “heart” them. Watch the video and you’ll understand. Plus… when I saw them in Portland… THEY CHANGED OUTFITS 10 TIMES FOR 1 SHOW!!! How can you not love that?

Step Inside the Strange Tonal World of Makeunder

Front man Hamilton Ulmer led a 7-piece band that delighted, pumped up, and intrigued the audience with their unique sound and energetic performance. Makeunder's skill, craft, and cohesion were apparent, and it was this high level of musicianship that allowed them to take listeners on a seamless journey, weaving through ever-shifting musical vignettes.
